HELP RAISE FUNDS FOR RME ONLINE!
The River Music Experience (RME) is at a very exciting juncture in its young history; our organization is poised to make great strides in serving the community over the course of the next year, and WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT now more than ever.
Now YOU can personally help make a big difference at RME, by helping raise the funds needed to support our diverse live music performances and unique educational programs such as music lessons, Rock Camp USA, Sound Lab, Winter Blues, and River Currents Tour for area schools.

It’s important to understand that the live music performances and educational programs provided at the RME help to build a better community. The RME contributes to a higher quality of life for Quad Citians and beyond, one performance and program at a time.
We encourage you to be a part of our new online fundraising effort, and we hope you will invite your friends to do so, too!
Thank you in advance for your support of RME!
"Bucktown Revue" Series Returns to the RME

“The Bucktown Revue,” an old-fashioned webcast radio variety program that draws inspiration from such shows as “A Grand Ole Opry” and “A Prairie Home Companion features live folk music, poetry and humor. The program will be available for downloading from Apple iTunes.
“The Bucktown Revue” marks the second collaboration between The Barley House Band and master of ceremonies Scott Tunnicliff. The troupe’s show last year, “The River City Radio Hour,” showcased area talent in a humorous, fast-paced production. “The Bucktown Revue” will continue in that tradition.
Guests for the October 17th show include old time bluegrass band Just 4 Fun; Embassy, a contemporary acoustic set; musical humor by Steve Couch; and poetry by Dave McMillen, among other special guests.
All shows will be 7 p.m. the third Friday of the month in the RME Performance Hall. “The Bucktown Revue” runs September through April and admission is only $7 a person (at the door).

The program will conclude with a special Saturday Blues Jam event in the Redstone Room on January 3rd beginning at noon. For a list of instructors and more information about the program, click here.
